I loved this wedding.
You know when the days over and you feel like you’ve just been hanging out with friends rather then working, then you just know it was a good one!
Apart from the traditional & formal signing at Woolwich Town Hall, most other ‘traditions’ were out! From the Bride and groom coming down the aisle together, to walking through Woolwich Market to excellent The Guardhouse Woolwich; and taking in the sights and sounds of the area including the romantic (this may split the crowd! 😉 ha-ha) Love Lane in all its colourful glory… or was that gory?
It didn’t matter much though.
This wedding was all about being focused on what was important to the bride and groom. Which of course was to be surrounded by all their family & close family and everyone having fun!
Had to laugh at the moment when the bride’s sister approached me and said “You probably don’t remember me, but I was the bridesmaid that fainted at a wedding you photographed a few years ago”. I think she was pleasantly surprised that I not only remembered the wedding but I also remembered her name too (wedding photographer skills)!
There’s always a good team behind all good weddings! Kirsty McCall for her fabulous bridal Hair and makeup! and the beautiful flowers from by Faye!
I must also mention the wedding ‘cake’ or should I say Croquembouche from Boulangerie Jade. It looked amazing, and tasted great too. The bride and groom insisted that I had to try the caramel, dark and white chocolate.. it would have been very rude to refuse!
Such a great time.
Please enjoy this small selection of photographs of their brilliant day!
