Is that why you’ve spent hours scouring the internet, asking friends, looking through galleries, asking for recommendations on Facebook (be careful when asking though… [link]), emailing, phone calls and meeting your ideal wedding photographer to capture your wedding day memories?
Of course not!
You want a photographer to capture ‘your’ relationship, personalities and ‘your’ connection with each other, along with your friends and family…
Remember you’re not having a relationship with your photographer or the camera; wedding photography is about creating memories of a special day and the reliving the emotions you were feeling at that time.
Does a grip and grin do that?
Everyone is different of course, but I don’t think a grip-n-grin would have the same impact as a couple interacting, laughing, crying, smiling, looking at each other and having that intimate moment just before or after a kiss (not the ‘actual’ kiss though… I don’t know many people that would want a duck-face on their wedding photos, except maybe the Instagram selfie generation of course 😉).
